Roll back your roof and open all your windows... let the sunshine in! The month of May hosts the pagan festival of Beltane, or Mayday, the most ancient religious festival in the Northern Hemisphere, celebrated for thousands of years throughout diverse cultures.

Chose amongst the plethora of rituals invoking the forces of Springtime fertility... hang garlands of greens and flowers all round, dance and frolick around the Maypole, and wash your face in the dew of the Beltane morning.

Other notable holidays include Fairy Godmother Week, May 1st through to the 7th, and of course Mother's Day, landing on Sunday the 11th. Let the festivities begin!
