the letter 'O'Our mistress Moon rivals the powerful midsummer Sun this month, demanding her share of attention.

The long days of sun worship and celebration are crowned with dreams and lunacies, as the Moon is eclipsed on the 7th, achieves SuperMoon status (closest to Earth) early on the 21st and then later that day performs the longest total eclipse of the Sun that will occur in the 21st century!

Both our outer and inner worlds will be awash with the flotsam and jetsam that come with higher tides. (See Cancer and Leo for greater info) ... And the name of this great Moon? The Assiniboine call it the Red Berries Moon, the Haidi call it the Salmon Moon; to the Shawnees it is the Blackberry Moon, and to the Mohawks it is The Time of Much Ripening Moon.
