Horoscope for November

The Sun in the late autumnal sign of Scorpio until the 21st of this month draws energy down into the roots of things; relationships intensify and intimacy deepens.As the most concentrated of all signs, Scorpio rules all the things not discussed in polite society - death, sex, mass resources and magic. Holidays over this time reflect these themes - November begins with All Saints' Day on the 1st, and Dio de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, a 3 day festival honoring and celebrating the memory of loved ones who have passed on. Check out the Dio de los Muertos Art Show in Uke, opening on Sunday the 2nd, also the date of National "Plan your Epitath" Day.
Remembrance Day falls on the 11th, just before the Full Moon rises in the Buddha-like sign of Taurus on the 12th. This lunation is an auspicious one, as the Moon comes closest in its' approach to Earth, and the increased gravitational pull draws out extremes in tides, weather patterns, and our emotional landscapes.
Coinciding with this Full Moon is the dawning of the 6th Day in the Mayan Calendar, signaling a major shift or renaissance in human consciousness - hoorah!
