Tofino Food & Wine Festival

This event is set in the Tofino Botanical Gardens, with associated events being hosted by participating Tofino restaurants

The 6th Annual Tofino Food and Wine festival is a joint fundraiser for Tofino's Lighthouse Trail and the Botanical Gardens. This is a well attended weekend of events, not to be missed by anyone who loves great food and wine. The festival is dedicated to being exclusive to bc wines and promotes Vancouver Island food purveyors with the talents of local chefs.

The Great Room at Long Beach Lodge Resort

Two hours of canapes created by Chef Jeffrey Young paired with wine samples from Hester Creek with guest winemaker Robert Summers and the infamous Oysterman Brent Petkau in the Great Room at Long Beach Lodge Resort, overlooking the captivating Cox Bay.

A great warm up to the Wickaninnish Inn's Dinner.

A special cooking event demonstrating recipes from Author and CBC 'All Points West' Radio Host Troy Townsin's 'Cooking with BC Wines'. Chef Lisa Henderson will incorporate BC wines in cooking and pairing with recipes from Townsin's self published book (which won 2005 Gourmand World Cookbook Award) while Townsin will be available for exclusive book signing and questions.....

Join Cobble Hill artist Michelle Miller (currently showing pieces at On Canvas Art Gallery and Cafe Brio - Victoria, BC) and Ucluelet artist Marla Thirsk in a creative evening of food, wine and art. Guests will be provided with painting supplies, wine and canapes. This is fun wine tasting event that offers guests a chance to socialize and get interactive with professional artists while creating a piece of their own.

A showcase of the finest local west coast culinary talents and BC's best wineries set in the enchanting and eclectic setting of the Tofino Botanical Gardens in efforts to raise money for the tbg and tofino's lighthouse trail..." More than 50 BC wineries will be presenting wines while local chefs and island cheesemakers present canapes style delectables. This is a car free event, rain or shine!
