Naturalist Jen Pukonen has been working in the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations community of Ahousaht to help develop and restore traditional Nuu-chah-nulth root gardens. Jen will introduce you to some of the species of plants were cultivated for their tasty and nutritional roots. Meet at the Tofino Botanical Gardens. Cost $10 adults, $6 student, kids 12 and under FREE. TBG Members free. All proceeds support the RES and the Tofino Botanical Gardens.

A three hour guided tour with a biologist and naturalist introducing participants to the flora and fauna of Clayoquot Sound's ancient temperate rainforest, beaches and mudflats. Cost includes three-day admission into the Tofino Botanical Gardens, a free beverage from the Trilogy Garden Cafe, and a package of information to take home. $25 per adult, $15 for students, children 12 & under free. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a rain jacket. All proceeds support the Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation.
