Tofino in April
by Adam Buskard, Tofino
A call to the Tofino artisans to join a studio tour. Tofino's dynamic and wild landscape draws artists from far and wide and fills them with daily inspiration. Visitors to our town often seek out these artisans in hopes of finding that perfect something to take home to visually express and remind them of their magical stay here. Tofino Studio Tour will give visitors a chance to meet local artists, experience art studios in action, and purchase works directly from the maker. The tour is currently being organised by local artists for all artists with their own studios to participate. Artists must be willing to open their studios to the public the first Sunday of every month from June until September 2008. All mediums welcome. Registration deadline is April 30th! For more information and to register call Lisa Jewell 725-3677 or Daniela Petosa 725-2297.
