Tofino Recipe: Ziggy's French Toast

Ziggy's French Toast (for four servings) 12 slices raisin bread 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg 1 tablespoon vanilla 8 eggs 1 cup of milk Mix the cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla in a bowl with 1⁄4 cup of hot water.
Add the eggs and milk and mix until well blended. Pour this mixture into a lasagne dish and soak the raisin bread in it until thoroughly moistened.
Cook on a well buttered griddle until the bread puffs up and is golden on both sides.
Serve hot with your favourite topping!
