Starting June 16th. This 6 week course is designed for those interested in building skills and practice needed to construct simple pottery forms using the potter’s wheel. Students will learn basic characteristics and working properties of clay. Centering, trimming, decorative and glazing techniques will be explored, paying particular attention to finishing details. All levels welcome. $210 includes glazes and kiln firings, clay cost $20 / 22 lbs. bag

Starting June 18th This 6 week course introduces students to the basic process of screen printing and its application to ceramics. Images will be transferred to screens through use of photo emulsion and light exposure. Screens can later be used for future clay, fabric, canvas and paper projects. All levels welcome. $240 includes 12 x 18 inch screen and all materials (emulsions, clay, glazes)
