On tour from the United Kingdom, songwriters Celeste Lovick and Chris Ellis return to Tofino, bringing their uplifting and spontaneous set of original songs performed with two voices interweaving in harmony, two guitars and grand piano.

Their performances have been called ‘Magnetic’, by the National Theatre and their songs, ‘well-crafted with great sincerity’.

Mishka’s biography has an almost cinematic sweep. He spent most of his early life on a boat in the Caribbean, sailing from island to island with his seafaring parents and older sisters. A child of the islands, it was almost inevitable that he’d be drawn to reggae, Rastafari, and the natural mystic that inhabits his music and his soul. His newest album, Talk About is his fourth album and the second release for Matthew McConaughey’s j. k. livin label.

“The music I heard growing up from my parents, sisters and the places we visited gave me a lot of musical and cultural flexibility.” “Everything I’ve ever heard blends together in what I do.” “I’m a huge reggae fan but there’s folk, soul, rock and other elements in the music.”

Mishka will be previewing his clothing line with O'Neill during his 2010 tour in support of Talk About. He will also be a part of the creative design of upcoming styles for ECO'Neill and will be featured in advertising and marketing materials before the line hits stores.

DJ Murge has been playing the club scene for well over a decade now. His eclectic up tempo sets always keep the booty’s shaking. His style of music caters to all tastes across the board. If it’s funky it’s in his set. He pushes fresh music and new music, and is best known for digging up surprises from the past. Murge has produced tracks for the likes of Slug (Atmosphere), Swollen Members and remixed work for Tegan & Sara. It seems the key to success in this game is diversity, and the ability to wear an infinite number of hats, while still maintaining your core vision for your art. Murges Dj sets are the product of his vision for his music, and through it, he hopes too show the industry, and the clubbing community, that its time to start paying close attention.

Ra Focus represents three Vancouver based artists who strive to create a hip hop style that can be a catalyst for positive change, growth and peace during these challenging but opportunistic times. Group members; Mosaic, Kapok and Reflectionz (Dylan Viau) have performed with many of North Americas major hip hop artists including: Zion I, Moka Only, Sweatshop Union, Def 3, Living Legends, Emotionz, Lesk 1, Snak the Ripper and many others.

They have also recently performed multiple shows at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, and made a notable impression at the Shambhala Music Festival this past August.

Witnessing their debut albums, “Built 2 Last,” and “The Sacred Hustle” hit thousands of downloads worldwide, this savvy, well rounded crew is becoming a rising force in the rap game.

Delhi 2 Dublin is a group of five musicians who mash up electronica and world music, keeping it heavy on the Bhangra, Celtic and Dub flavours. Fusing tabla, fiddle, dhol, Punjabi vocals, and electric sitar with scorching electronic beats, the crew takes listeners on a wild ride through global sounds and synchronicities.

D2D has been busy gigging constantly, playing some of Canada’s largest festivals as well as being invited to open the massive Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill in Ottawa in 2007.

Their debut album “Delhi 2 Dublin” reached #3 on the Canadian world music charts and has received airplay all over the world.
