Tofino artist Daysi Tattersall

Born and raised in a small town in Ontario, Daisy began exploring her artistic talents almost immediately. From crayons to acrylics and pastels, she was always able to use art as an outlet for both expression and communication.

Daisy graduated from Vancouver Film School's 3D animation program, and previously studied animation and motion graphics as well as completing a three year diploma art program in Toronto. Daisy's been involved in various exciting projects including a large mural displayed on Vancouver's Sea Wall, as well as a motion graphics project 'A Wrinkle in Time' released in 2003. Her latest endeavor includes illustrating one of many children's books for ESL students in China.

Now living in Ucluelet, Daisy works as an illustrator, graphic artist, art teacher, and still finds time to paint. Through Daisy's influences of Picasso, Dali, and Pollack, she's developed a very personal idiosyncratic style.

Daisy is best know for her striking and vivacious paintings, decidedly rooted in the realm of her dreams.
