Parks & Recreation Commission Open House

at the Tofino Community Centre, Tofino

The Tofino Recreation Commission would like to invite all Tofino residents and interested parties to the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Open House. This forum will focus on Parks, Facilities and Open Spaces and what direction they will take over the next 10 years. Two surveys that were conducted earlier this year have prompted the following questions:

• Should the Village Green tennis courts be moved to Chesterman Beach park?
• Does the District need its own multi use field?
• Should we do a feasibility study to determine if a pool facility is in our future?
• Are there alternatives to the MUP to access downtown?
• What are the park and recreation amenities for the Cox Bay?

We hope to have you answer these and many more questions at the Open House. Please join us for an interactive session with lots of opportunity to offer ideas, suggestions and input.
