Feast! Tofino-Ucluelet culinary festival

A collaboration between Tofino & Ucluelet chefs and restaurants, fishermen, foragers and farmers, accommodation, activity and tour providers, Feast! Tofino-Ucluelet celebrates the abundance of locally available seafood and the sustainable “boat-to-table” practices commonly employed by the area’s restaurants and the Tofino-Ucluelet Culinary Guild.

The TUCG unites a community of like-minded chefs, restaurant entrepreneurs and culinary visionaries whose mission is to work closely with each other and regional farmers, foragers and fishermen to provide, support and promote a unique culinary experience that relies on sustainable farm-to-table and boat-to-table practices and the freshest local ingredients prepared with integrity and passion.

Alexandra is author of many books including 'Listening to Whales' and 'Stain Upon the Sea' as well as the brains behind 'Salmon Are Sacred' and 'Mayday for Wild Salmon'. Alexandra will be joined by the Wild Fish Conservancy who will present details of their sea lice study and impacts of salmon farms on wild salmon in Clayoquot Sound.
