The New Moon will eclipse the Sun as it passes between it and the Earth in the early hours of Friday, August 1st. This total Solar Eclipse in the passionate and prideful sign of Leo will be visible, and correspondingly, most active, in Russia and China, but we may sense it at a subtler level as a challenge to admit our errors, listen so we can learn, and creatively adapt.

The Universe makes up for the missed Eclipse Show with another - the Perseids Meteor Shower, a cosmic fireworks of 50 to 80 meteors an hour streaking through the night sky and into the dawn of the 13th. Saturday the 16th hosts a partial eclipse of the Moon; this time we pass between the Sun in Leo and the opposing Full Moon in Aquarius. El Sol rolls into Virgo on Friday the 22nd, narrowing our focus and highlighting our duties.The second New Moon of the Year rises with the Sun on Saturday the 30th; begin devotions and set directions at this time.
