The story of four young girls who paid the price for a nation’s ignorance.

Acclaimed director Spike Lee wanted to make this film since 1983 because the event it depicts -- the 1963 bombing of a church in Birmingham that killed 4 little girls -- is considered by many to be a pivotal moment in the Civil Rights Movement. Roger Ebert said, "More than any other event, that was the catalyst for the civil rights movement, the moment when all of America could look away no longer from the face of racism." "It was the awakening,'' says Walter Cronkite in the film. Admisson by donation.

He's short and chunky with a flat nose - a genetic pool that means he won't get to first base with Anna, the woman he loves. Then, when his mother's on her deathbed, frightened of the eternal void that awaits her, Mark invents fiction. The hospital staff overhear his description of Heaven, believe every word, and tell others. Soon Mark is a prophet, his first inventive screenplay makes him rich, and he's basically a good guy. But will that be enough for Anna?

They didn’t grab their destiny... they lifted it.

In 1296, the pride of Scotland was stolen. In 1950, four university students set out to steal it back. This funny, heart warming adventure comedy retells the incredible true story of Ian Hamilton, a dedicated nationalist who reignited Scottish national pride in the 1950s with his daring raid on the heart of England to bring the Stone of Scone back to Scotland.

With a wonderful score by Mychael Danna, this film is a great story, worth seeing! Audience Favourite at the Victoria Film Festival; has won several awards.
