Horoscope for July: Leo

Leo Jul.23 — Aug.21

In honour of your coming big day, I did some research on famous Leos. To name a few, there's Amelia Earhart, Karl Jung, Mick Jagger, Jerry Garcia, Mussolini, Napoleon, Fidel Castro, Schwarzenegger, Arafat, Neil Armstrong, Madonna, and, of course, the Queen Mother. How not surprising! I thought for sure that Walt Whitman, the great poet who wrote one of my favourites -"Song of Myself" must also be a Leo, but I was wrong - but only slightly.

Turns out his Moon is in Leo, and a very conspicuous one it is, dominating half the skies at the time of his birth. So I let him in the Club. I don't have space to quote the Song piece here and now, but I do recommend you look it over in prep for your birthday and life in general.

Here's a titbit..."I celebrate myself and sing myself/...I dote on myself, there is that lot of me and all so luscious/... the aroma of these armpits incense finer than prayer!"
