libra The third month of winter's rule, February is named after februa, a goatskin thong that was used in the ancient orgiastic festival Lupercalia (see Taurus) to lightly whip scantily clad maidens and increase their fertility.

The scientific research validating the connection between goat-thong whippings and fertility is underfunded, so we don't really know if this works at all, but you never know until you try!

Aquarius, the ruling sign up until the 18th of this month, is famous for out-of-the-box thinking and the genius that cabin-fever and status quo stiltedness inspires. The time is ripe!
