It tells the true story of Christmas Eve, 1914 when the unthinkable happens: a spontaneous truce between front-line German, French, and Scottish soldiers. Rifles are left at the bottoms of trenches and steps are taken towards those opposite to shake their hands and wish "A Merry Christmas".
