Artist Christy Feaver

Christy Feaver is an artist through and through. Her whole life she has loved using her hands to express her creativity through art, photography and stain glass works, which has now lead her to metal work, her true passion.

Christy was born and raised on Vancouver Island with much of her time spent in Tofino. She has traveled the globe in search of inspiration, growth and creativity. For her this balance comes from both the simple lines and shapes from the mountains and ocean as well from modern architecture and the urban landscape. It's the melding of these paradoxes that gives Christy's jewelry it's unique esthetic.

At present she works mostly in silver, brass, copper by forming, forging and hammering metals. Christy has studied with master goldsmiths at The Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and with renowned designer Robert Lee Morris. It was Morris that taught Christy to follow her heart and discover a signature style that both defines and represents you, separating you from other jewelers.

For Christy working with metals allows her to put her energy and power in what she creates thus passing it on to the people who are attracted to her work. To her this is a healing craft. Christy has followed her heart, moving back to Tofino.

For her this place with it's connection to nature and surf calms her spirit and rejuvenates her mind. Her goal is to create a space where she can have a working studio and gallery to showcase her work and other inspiring jewelers.
