USS Grad Fundraising Auction

It’s almost time to rid ourselves of this year’s graduating class, and they need our donations to make the most of their year end extravaganza! The fundraising scheme this year comes in the form of a silent auction, where you, the wonderful community gathers together and purchases the assorted treasures the students have found and recieved.
The local businesses have donated items for the auction, of which I am told are all interesting and worthwhile. You can expect to see some art, gift certificates, and maybe even some surfing equipment.

A trip to Vancouver to a show of your choice is just one of the prizes that are heading for the auction block. Among these items will be the grad class themselves, who have “volunteered” to be auctioned off for various chores, labours, and simple tasks. So if you have some painting you need done, or just a horrendous amount of cleaning, come by and bid on the students for all your slave labour needs.

So dig deep into your hearts, and your wallets, to support this event and our 2005 Grad Class.

Despite being clueless about what to do next, Beni is looking forward to escaping the clutches of the educational system — at least for a while.
