Tofino Skatepark Update

Ahhhh… November in Tofino, not exactly the winter skate Mecca of North America, but we're working on it. October was another productive month for us. We are always on the move, rain or shine, sleet or snow.We had two successful movie nights in October and will be having more in November. There is no better way to beat the rain and dark than to watch a movie on the big screen with 30 or 40 friends! Keep your eyes open for the next coming attraction. We will also have a matinee for the little ones in the future, for all you parents out there.
Our November Skate 101 will be on Saturday, November 29, so make sure you register early. This month Skate 101 will have a limited entry. Contact April at the district office for more info 725-3229.
We are in the process of setting up an all weather skate area with some new ramps, fun boxes and a really fun three-sided pyramid. Once we work out the legalities we will go public with the location! See you at the park or at the movie nights!!
