Happy New Year Tofino!!! Congratulations on a fantastic year.

Wow! So many great things happened in our community in 2010. The O'Neill Coldwater Classic, Whale Festival, our smooth navigation of the recession and the many moments we came together as a community to be there for each other in times of joy and pain. We are very very proud to be part of all of this and consider ourselves very lucky.

Pacific Rim Whale Festival

The Pacific Rim Whale Festival (March 19-27, 2011) is in its 25th year of celebrating the migration of approximately 20,000 Grey Whales by our shores. Fueled by volunteers, this 9-day kickoff to Spring features signature events such as the Martini Migration and Wickaninnish Inn fundraising gala, alongside educational and cultural activities for all ages.

Adam Buskard has spent a few winters in Tofino over the years and knows that January can be a challenging time in Tuff City.
